A bulk URL shortener turns a whole list of long destination URLs into short, trackable links in one operation, instead of pasting them one at a time. You can paste a list (one URL per line) for a quick job, or upload a CSV where each row becomes a short link with its own alias and title. The CSV is dead simple
Three columns — destination, alias, title. Only the destination is required. Leave the alias blank for a random short slug, and the title is optional.

How many URLs can I shorten at once?+
It depends on your plan — from 50 links per upload up to 1,000, and unlimited (custom) on Enterprise. You can run multiple imports to build up a large library over time, within your account's total link limit.
What CSV format does the bulk importer need?+
A simple three-column file: destination, alias, title. Only the destination URL is required; leave the alias blank to auto-generate a short slug, and the title is optional. Download the template in-app to get the exact headers.
Can I set custom aliases (back-halves) in bulk?+
Yes — put your alias in the second column of each row. Blank rows get a random short slug, and a duplicate alias is skipped and reported so nothing is silently overwritten.
Can I export my short links to a spreadsheet?+
Yes — export all your links to CSV anytime, including the destination, title, created date, and total clicks. It's ideal for reporting, backups, and migrations.
Do bulk-created links expire?+
No. U2L bulk links are permanent redirects by default — they don't expire on a timer, unlike some shorteners that expire bulk links after a set period.
Is there a free bulk URL shortener?+
Bulk import is a paid feature — it's not on the free plan. Free accounts can still create and export links; bulk CSV import unlocks on paid tiers, where you also get branded, trackable, permanent links.
Is there an API for programmatic bulk creation?+
Yes — use the public API for automated or real-time creation and pipelines, and use CSV import for one-time batch jobs. Both create the same trackable short links.
Can I use my own custom domain for bulk links?+
Bulk links are created on a shared U2L short domain by default, with no setup needed. If you've connected a custom domain, you can shorten onto it too.
What happens to rows with errors?+
The import validates each row independently — a row missing a destination fails on its own, and the rest still succeed. You get a summary of how many succeeded and failed, with the specific errors listed.
